Albéric Bichot now represents the 6th generation to run the family business. Under the direction of Alain Serveau, chief winemaker, their teams include vineyard managers who oversee viticulture and cellar masters who supervise vinification and aging. This Crémant de Bourgogne Brut Réserve is elaborated with grapes from the Burgundy appellation in the department of Côte-d’Or. The grapes are vinified and bottled, and undergo a second fermentation using méthode traditionelle. The wines have aged nearly 2 years before being disgorged.
